Two referees from Ghana, Brobbey Acheampong and Daniel Laryea have been selected as part of the officials for the CHAN 2023 tournament.
The competition is set to be played in January in Algeria and the two officials from Ghana have been named in the list released by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
The list included 19 centre referees, 21 assistant referees, and 12 video assistant referees
Laryea is one of the 12 individuals listed for the VAR responsibilities, whereas Brobbey has been named as an assistant referee.
Three females from three different African countries are also named by CAF, with Vincentia Amedome from Togo, as the only female centre referee.
This year’s edition is set to begin January 13, 2023, and end February 4.
