E/R NPP Reg. Elections : I’m optimistic to win Chairmanship race – Jeff Konadu Addo

The incumbent Eastern Regional secretary of the governing New Patriotic Party, Mr. Jeff Konadu Addo has stated that he is very optimistic to cling the Chairmanship race in the region.

Mr. Jeff Konadu Addo is currently vying for the Chairmanship position.

The Regional secretary, whiles speaking to Republic FM’s Andy Frimpong Manso on the sidelines of the Popular Acclamation of the Abetifi NPP’s constituency executives in Kwahu Nteso stated that, he has served and that he is very optimistic that he shall be remembered and elected to become the Chairman for the NPP in the Eastern Region.

“I’m expecting that since I’ve served the Eastern Region, I’m expecting that they will vote for me. When 6was going for the secretary position, Kwaku Andy led me and if I want Chairman today, I’m sure he will lead me and so I’m very hopeful and optimistic that I shall win as the regional Chairman”, he said.

Speaking on the new form of politics of the NPP in the Kwahu block, especially the Nkawkaw constituency in which Member of parliament aspirants forms teams they would want to work with, he said, whenever there is a vacant position, royals definitely go in for the position and nkawkaw is not an exception, hence in such situations, people would want to choose others they wish to work with and the delegates called for aspirants from different camps to come up with their executives to run the constituency.

The Regional primaries of the NPP will come off on May ending.

He reiterated the commitment bestowed in the Newly elected Nkawkaw constituency chairman Andy Kwaku Ameyaw that he would definitely succeed in helping the party to win more votes.
