The Tamale High Court has ruled that the Kpandai parliamentary election must be rerun, directing that a new poll be held within 30 days from today.
The judgment, delivered by Justice Emmanuel Brew Plange, comes after a legal challenge to the 2024 parliamentary election results in the constituency.
The petition alleged that irregularities during voting and collation undermined the credibility of the declared outcome.
In his ruling, Justice Plange upheld the petition, instructing the Electoral Commission to conduct a fresh election to determine the legitimate winner of the Kpandai seat.
