The family of the late Mawuena Adzo Dumor Trebarh, has set June 29 to lay to rest the former CEO of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC).
The former Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC) and elder sister of the late Komla Dumor, Mrs. Mawuena Trebah, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, after battling of illness.
Mrs. Trebah made history as the first female appointed as substantive Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Investment Promotion Centre (GIPC), serving from April 2013 to January 2017.
Throughout her career, she held various senior executive positions, including roles at Ashanti Goldfields Company Ltd, where she began as their first female underground exploration geologist, Newmont Ghana Gold Ltd., where she served as head of Corporate Communications, and Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN), where she worked as head of Corporate Service.
Additionally, she was the founding director and Chief Business Strategist at Inspire Africa.
Announcing details of her funeral arrangements,the family said the burial service will commence at 7 am at the Holy Spirit Cathedral in Adabraka, Accra.
Attendees are requested to dress in black attire for this solemn occasion.
A thanksgiving service will be held at the same Cathedral at 9:30 am on June 30 with attendees required to dress in black and white.
Prior to the funeral, friends and sympathizers are invited to pay their respects and offer condolences by signing a book of condolence at the residence of Prof. Ernest Dumor, the father of Mrs. Mawuena Trebarh.
