Ghanaian movie star, John Dumelo has provoked Nigerians by calling “The Eagles” “super chickens”.

The Actor made some remarks to the Super Eagles of the Nigerians after they played draw with the Black Stars at the FIFA World Cup play off at Abuja.

Out of excitement, John Dumelo posted a video of himself and some others celebrating at a Game Center which had the caption “I told you they were SUPER CHICKENS!! Congrats Black Stars.”

John Dumelo’s post was followed by expression of resentment by many Nigerians for calling their National team “super Chickens”. They described his comment as needless and inappropriate.

Some comments stated that, “hater, Nigerian movie industry made you. Mock the football not the county that gave you bread.”

Another also said , “I will remind you of this statement about insulting my country .You just watch”.
