The managing director of Ghana Publishing Company, Mr. David Boateng-Asante, has officially picked up forms to contest in the Nkawkaw constituency race on the tickets of the New Patriotic Party.
The one-time Nkawkaw Constituency NPP Parliamentary aspirant officially informed the media of his intentions to pick forms to contest the NPP’s Parliamentary Primaries slated for January 27, 2024, on Sunday, December 17.
The CEO is among two persons, including the immediate past constituency chairman for Nkawkaw, Mr. Andrew’s Kwaku Ameyaw, who have expressed their interest in contesting against the incumbent Hon. Joseph Frempong.
The MD picked up his form yesterday and is expected to file his nomination within the days ahead.
President Akufo-Addo appointed him in 2020 to take charge of the then-ailing Ghana Publishing Company. His ideas and strategies have helped elevate the company, which is now making substantial progress in the country.
The party opened nominations on Wednesday, December, 20 and it will end filing on December 25.
