The New Patriotic Party’s National Executive Election is scheduled to take place at the Accra Sports Stadium from July 15 to 17, 2022.
Four New Patriotic Party (NPP) aspirants are vying for the National Youth Organiser position. The aspirants are; Abanga Fusani Yakubu, Salam Mohammed Mustapha, Prince Kamal Gumah and Michael Osei Boateng.
Salam Mohammed Mustapha
Mr Salam Mustapha, National Deputy Youth Organizer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) recently graduated from Salford University, the United Kingdom with MSC. Project Management.
Prince Kamal Gumah
A National Youth Organizer aspirant of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Prince Kamal Gumah has revealed how committed and dedicated he has been to serve the party.
Mr Gumah, who is the current Deputy Youth Organizer of the NPP’s USA branch, disclosed that he has been at the forefront of the affairs of the party since age 14, working as a polling agent and patrolling the country’s borders to prevent foreigners from entering into the country to partake particularly in the 1996 and 2000 Elections.
Mr Gumah said his dedication and commitment to the party are borne out of his passion to see the betterment of Ghana as he believes the NPP is the only political party that can significantly transform the country.
In his bid to become the NPP’s National Youth Organizer, he said he intends to prioritize the needs of the youth who toil for the party and empower them so that they will be motivated to continue to advance the course of the NPP should be given the nod.
Michael Osei Boateng
Michael Osei Boateng, affectionately called Pope filed his nomination on the 15th of June 2022 to contest to become the National Youth Organiser for the New Patriotic Party.
Mr Osei Boateng has held many positions within the NPP. In his young political life, he has served as deputy regional youth organiser, regional youth organiser for the Brong Ahafo Region, and regional organiser for the Bono region. He is currently the regional director of YEA.
He comes face to face with his closest contender, Salaam Mustapha whose candidacy many see as problematic for the vice president, Dr Mahamadu Bawumia’s chances of becoming the party’s flag-bearer.
