The Oti Regional Coordinating Council has held a ceremony to mark the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between World Vision Ghana and three District Assemblies: Krachi West, Krachi Nchumuru, and Kadjebi District Assembly. The MOU underscores the shared commitment to advancing community development, enhancing access to social services, and promoting sustainable livelihoods across the region.
The Chief Director of the Oti Regional Coordinating Council witnessed the agreement on behalf of the Regional Minister. The partnership aims to bridge the gap between government and development actors, fostering inclusive growth and social transformation. The Regional Minister commended World Vision Ghana for its dedication to improving the welfare of children, families, and communities in the Oti Region and beyond.
As part of the engagement, World Vision Ghana announced a series of commissioning and handover ceremonies for completed water systems in beneficiary communities under its Universal Service Coverage Project. The ceremonies will take place from November 5 to 7, 2025, across selected communities in the Krachi Nchumuru, Krachi West, and Kadjebi Districts. This initiative aims to expand access to safe drinking water and improve sanitation in the region.
