Actor and pastor, Majid Michel has shared why he thinks Ghana’s movie industry has been suffering for some time now, asserting that the industry could not catch up with technology.
In an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz Fm today, the actor said the movie industry did not take advantage of technology which is why they have not been able to keep up with other industries.
“We couldn’t catch up quickly when the switch happened to technology. When it became digital and when the internet took over.
“We couldn’t switch fast enough. We couldn’t catch up and then other people caught up, so we are lagging behind right now,” he stressed.
He however expressed hope that the industry will in the future get back to its feet.
“I believe we will definitely come back to normal and there will be an impact.”
