Early Life & Education
Born on November 27, 1972, in Suhum, Dr. Acheampong hails from Nkwatia in the Kwahu East District. He began his education at Achimota Primary School and later attended Presbyterian Boys Secondary School (PRESEC), Legon.
After his national service, he volunteered at the Tom-Ni Orphanage in Kwahu Obomeng—an early sign of his lifelong dedication to service. He earned a bachelor’s degree and MBA from Johnson and Wales University in the U.S., later obtaining a PhD in Information Systems from the University of Ghana and a law diploma from the University of Law (UK). He has also completed professional certifications at MIT and the University of Ghana Business School.

Dr. Acheampong is currently in his fourth term as MP for Abetifi and is a respected member of the New Patriotic Party (NPP). He also played a key role at the party’s headquarters under the late Jake Obetsebi Lamptey.
