Founder of Life Assembly Worship Centre, Reverend Christian Kwabena Andrews popularly called Osofo Kyiri Abosom has labeled the Bible as mere book that has no powers.
According to him, though he uses the Bible, he sees it as a reference book, which has no power.
He made this statement in an interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on the Delay Show over the weekend, adding that he sees many of the things in the Bible as fake.
“The Bible is there for comparison, it is there for reference, there is no power in it. Since childhood, I have known that every power resides in me and not in the Bible.
“Though I subscribe to some of teachings in the Bible, but many teachings in it are fake and for me, the Bible is not authentic. Somebody wrote and when the person was writing, i was not there,” he said.
The controversial pastor added that even though he believes in Jesus Christ, he does not believe that the name of Jesus can solve a problem but the spirit in him.
“I believe that he is the son of God and he is one of the prophets but i don’t believe that the name of Jesus can solve a problem but the spirit in me.”
