The Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Kingsford Bagbin has inaugurated the Northern Caucus of the Ninth Parliament.
He stated that through this Caucus, strategic roadmap would be designed, one that identifies and provides key areas of interventions such as the provision of good healthcare system, road infrastructure, rural electrification, water and sanitation, agricultural modernization, industrialization and the preservation of our unique northern cultural heritage.
He was optimistic that the Caucus would strengthen the ties between Parliament and relevant Government Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), civil society organizations (CSOs), traditional leaderships and international development partners to bring home the needed development to our people.
