Background

In a video sighted by myrepubliconline.com, two Police personnel from the Motor Transport and Traffic Directorate [MTTD] were seen struggling and brutalising a young man whom they believe to be the owner of a bag which contains marijuana.

The said incident is believed to have happened at Asankraguwa in the western region.

The young man could be heard saying the said bag does not belong to him and that he wants to call his directors to speak to the police.

Some citizens around were also heard saying the young man should apologise to the Police rather than struggle with them.
