A solely Ghanaian company, PRAK Industries, producers and suppliers of workplace hygiene products has officially outdoor its products into the market.
The company which produces toilet rolls, hand soap, sanitisers, hand paper towels, and jumbo toilet rolls is located at Kasoa Odupong in the Central Region.
Speaking during the official outdooring ceremony, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PRAK Industries, Mr. Robert Owusu Ansah, charged Ghanaians to patronize locally manufactured goods.
Mr. Ansah said this is the surest way of helping create jobs, and wealth and stabilize the country’s struggling economy.
He revealed that the “Odo Tissue” which is one of their products is of high quality, attractively packaged and made affordable to meet every need.
He encouraged the citizen and companies to pay their taxes regularly and promptly to help the government embark on developmental products.

The CEO also called on the government of Ghana to review its tax regime on import duties on raw materials to enable indigenous companies to become competitive locally and globally.
He pleaded with the government to as a matter of urgency, fix their road so that, people can come and buy their products adding that, bad roads hinder their operations.
On the issue of product differentiation between Odo Tissue and others. Mr. Ansah said, the Odo Tissue has a variety of products including Odo Take Away for the general market, Premium which is with high quality, and toilet rolls.

On job creation, Mr. Ansah revealed that the company has given direct employment to about 50 people and indirect jobs.
This he indicated, is part of their effort to assist in reducing the unemployment situation in the country.
Meanwhile, Chiefs in his operational area have pledged their commitment to release more lands in their respective jurisdictions to the company so that, they can also benefit from the factory including employment opportunities.
